look beyond the body

we are vulnerable to the human world when we identify
with the body & desire specific outcomes. without the body,
how can we suffer or have problems? discomfort has its roots in the
body & its artifact, the mind. all memory & body-based
experience belongs to the physical domain & is in fact
temporary, coming & going according to circumstances.

i can find only one realm in life that remains constant & steady
in the midst of this churning flow of change: the knowing that
i exist. for the body-personality, this "i am" is akin to the
universal vibration of OM. it's like a cosmic building block,
the basis of causality & creativity. "i am" is
a doorway accessing the subtle realm, a way out of attachment.

these deep thoughts are given to us as keys for opening alternate
realms through a change of focus, which helps us look beyond the body &
the outer world for stability & truth. You gave me this download,
Shiva. You showed this to me & i have truly taken it to heart.
i firmly commit to following the "i am" to its sacred source,
journeying with You, Shiva, for which i feel blessed & deeply grateful.

    1. i well understand how those bodily concerns can consume ones attention!🙏🏼
we are so deeply conditioned for aeons. it takes perseverance to develop objective awareness & persistence to maintain it. but having begun, one simply continues on🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

  1. So beautifully put.. a truth that is The Truth. What I said in my poem Re-entry..we identify so heavily with our bodies..sometimes forgetting they will be shed someday…this day coming for everyone. To begin to move in this body-less realm, to learn that creation comes from another part, only accessed when we move out of our body.. is all preparation for our “re-entry” into Everything…The All.. I love how you develop this thought and I vibrate to this truth and the examples you give. Much love to you,❤️ Karima

    1. we are trained from the beginning of life in the body that this—the body—is who we are. it is an on-going task to dis-identify with the purely physical & to open to the deep & the lofty inner realms awaiting our attention & development. but what a worthy task! especially with age it is good to realize that we are so much more than the “tip of the iceberg” that we can see!🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼 thanks for ur kind comments, Karima🌹
